How Often can you go to a LIVE concert of a leading singer like Elton John, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Justin Timberlake, Kings Of Leon etc. ?
Not often, right? Especially given the fact these concerts often require you to travel (quite often overseas) and also pay through the nose for a ticket?
Well, thanks to the power of the Internet, you can now ‘attend’ these LIVE concerts without any travel and without having to buy a ticket.
Better yet, it is 100% FREE! Yes, you heard right: FREE! You can either watch the live stream of the concert or watch a recording later on at a time that works best for you.
Sure, it’s not 100% exactly the same as being there in person amongst thousands of screaming fans. Yea, we get that! No argument there.
However, this is definitely second best and if you are a hardcore fan of any of the 60 different artists on offer, we are sure you will appreciate this opportunity.
This is now possible thanks to iTunes Festival.
The iTunes Festival is a 30 day event this September (September 1 to 30) during which 60 of the world’s leading performers will do their thing LIVE in London.
All these concerts will be streamed LIVE to the world through Apple’s iTunes Platform and will also be recorded for later viewing. All this for no charge whatsoever.
Because it’s iTunes, it means you can watch on your iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Apple TV and obviously your PC or Mac.
For those of you who don’t have iTunes already (and that will only be the case if you don’t have any Apple device or a Mac), you can download it for free from Apple.
