Save money on your mobile plan and mobile broadband

This is going to be a quick one.

There are currently two offers going on that we thought you might want to be aware of.

Amaysim is currently offering 50% off on the first month of their unlimited plan (using promo code UNL50).

This brings the cost of the first month to $19.95 which is the lowest cost for an unlimited mobile plan in Australia.

For this you get unlimited calls and texts to any Australian mobile or landline, unlimited access to your voicemail, unlimited calls to all numbers starting in 13 or 18 and 4GB of data.

After the first month, the price goes up to $39.90 which is no longer the best value and you would probably be wise to switch (and port your number) to a different plan which offers much better value.

Which one you ask? Well, we got you covered.

Amaysim operates on the Optus 3G network (no 4G available through this, sorry).

Another deal currently going on is from Dodo through the group buying site LivingSocial. This one is truly UNBEATABLE value.

In this one you get 3GB of data to use over 60 days for the insanely low price of $5.

This is a data-only plan so it’s perfect for your iPad, Android Tablet or 3G wifi dongle.
You can also use it in your smartphone provided you have a dual-SIM phone (as it offers no calling capabilities).

This deal is not available from Dodo directly and can only be accessed through LivingSocial. If you are not a member, you can sign up for free. It takes less then 5 seconds (we tested it).

Like Amaysim, Dodo also uses the Optus 3G network.
